Laboratory Services
In 2016, MyHeatSinks joined forces with LongWin Science and Technology Corporation and created a world-class thermal laboratory in Livermore, California to provide testing services to research institutes and corporations in the semiconductor, telecommunication, electronics, automotive, lighting and defense industries. The laboratory is equipped with a wide range of state-of-the-art thermal research instruments. Including an AMCA 210 wind tunnel, a natural convection simulation chamber, a thermal interface material (TIM) tester, a forced-convection evaluation platform, and other advanced tools. Since the debut in January 2017, many world-renowned companies have used our laboratory and services to conduct research and test new products.
We offer two types of services: (1) Testing by MHS engineers and (2) Testing by yourself. If you choose “testing by MHS engineers”, please use the form at the bottom of this page to describe your projects. We will evaluate and let you know the cost and lead time. Upon your approval of the cost and receipt of testing samples, our experienced thermal and mechanical engineers will perform the testing, and send you the results in digital formats. A Non-Disclosure Agreement is available upon request. If you choose “testing by yourself”, you can book any of our equipment for a full-day or half-day use and come to our lab. Our equipment is well maintained and calibrated by highly-trained engineers, who are also available to assist during your testing.
In addition to fee-based services, we also provide collaboration opportunities to educational institutes. Students and researchers from U.S. or Canadian universities can use our laboratory for free or at minimum costs. Please contact our team for more information.
