Heat Sinks Made in USA — Fast, Reliable, and Tariff-Free

We proudly manufacture high-performance heat sinks, heat pipes, and thermal assemblies at our state-of-the-art facility in Livermore, California — delivering tariff-free, reliable, and secure solutions tailored to your needs. As an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer, we maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure consistent performance and long-term reliability.

In today’s evolving trade environment, domestic production offers not only faster lead times and stronger supply chain resilience but can also be more cost-effective — even for high-volume orders. Our heat sinks are trusted by some of the world’s most innovative companies, including Fortune 500 technology firms, aerospace pioneers, and leading consumer electronics manufacturers.

For projects with unique cost or scale considerations, we also offer robust global manufacturing options, allowing you to optimize for both budget and performance without compromise.

Skived Copper and Aluminum Heat Sinks

Skiving is a highly efficient manufacturing method for producing high-performance heat sinks. This process requires no tooling, allowing for fast turnaround times. Each of our computerized skiving machines can simultaneously produce up to five heat sinks, achieving a monthly output of approximately 3,000 medium-sized copper or aluminum heat sinks per machine. Our California facility is capable of skiving various materials for different applications, including Pure Copper (C11000), Oxygen-Free Copper (C10100), Tellurium Copper (C14500), Pure Aluminum (1060/1070), and Extruded Aluminum (6063), among others. Five-Axis Machining for Heat Sinks with Complex Geometries

5-axis machining is an effective means to reduce setups and increase accuracy for multi-sided and complex parts. Our USA-made Haas UMC-750 features high-speed spindles (10,000 RPM), generous travel (30x20x20″) and 5-axis capabilities. Complex parts can be made precisely and at high speed.

Robotic System for Working Around The Clock

Our Trinity AX5 is a powerful pallet system. The Fanuc M-710iC robot can work tirelessly 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, moving blanks from 42 pallet positions, sending them to the processing table, according to programs, and returning finished products to their original positions. When our operators come to work, the robot will send the finished products to the unloading area. With this system, we have achieved unattended production at night and on weekends, increasing productivity and reducing manufacturing costs.

Assembly of Heat Pipe and Vapor Chamber Modules

A solder reflow system is used to manufacture heat pipe heat sink modules. It ensures a strong, reliable bond between components, allowing for efficient thermal transfer and the structural integrity necessary for optimal performance in electronic cooling applications.

Horizontal Milling for Plate-Fin Heat Sinks

Horizontal milling machines are indispensable in heat sink manufacturing, particularly for cutting the slots between fins and removing sharp edges in skived heat sinks. Unlike vertical milling, the horizontal configuration allows for more stable and efficient material removal, making it ideal for producing consistent and precise fin structures. The horizontal setup also enables the use of longer cutting tools, which can efficiently machine deeper slots and manage large workpieces, which is essential for heat sinks with extensive fin arrays. Additionally, horizontal milling machines are excellent for edge finishing, ensuring that the heat sinks have smooth, burr-free edges, which are crucial for safe handling and optimal thermal performance. The combination of stability, precision, and versatility makes horizontal milling a critical tool in producing high-quality heat sinks.

Rapid Prototyping with EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining)

Wire EDM uses a thin wire as an electrode to cut through the material. It is ideal for creating precise cuts and complex shapes in hard materials like copper and aluminum alloys. Wire EDM is especially useful for cutting narrow slots or thin walls in heat sinks. Like CNC machining, EDM does not require custom tooling, which means faster turnaround times and lower initial costs, making it an excellent choice for prototyping and small production runs.
